The week begins with disruption. Jesus walks into the temple and turns over tables. Not out of anger for its own sake, but because something had been lost. What was meant to be about knowing God had become about performance and pressure. It’s a reminder that faith doesn’t start with getting everything right, it starts with getting real.
Tuesday – What Really Matters
The noise builds. Questions, debates, opinions. And into all of that, Jesus speaks with clarity: love God, love people. Simple. But not easy. Because it’s always easier to argue than to love, it’s easier to call people out than to call them in, it’s easier to post outrage online than it is to forgive. Jesus invites us to live out of love, it’s what changes the world.
Wednesday – The Quiet Day
Nothing dramatic happens on the surface. But underneath, everything is moving. Betrayal is forming. Decisions are being made. It’s a day that reminds us that the direction of our lives is often shaped in the unseen moments, the quiet choices no one else notices.
Thursday – Love That Serves
Jesus gathers His friends for a meal. And then, in a moment that must have felt completely unexpected, He kneels and washes their feet. The one with all authority chooses the posture of a servant. The creator washes the feet of his creation, mind-blowing! This is what love looks like, not just words, but action. Not just intention, but humility.
Friday – When It Feels Like the End
This is the day everything seems to fall apart. Jesus is crucified. Hope appears lost. If you had been there, you would have thought the story was over. And yet, this was the moment everything was being dealt with, sin, brokenness, separation from God. What looks like defeat is, somehow, the beginning of victory.
Saturday – The Waiting
Silence. No answers. No movement. Just grief and confusion. It’s the in-between day, the one we often skip past too quickly. But it’s deeply human. Because we all know what it is to wait, to not understand. To wonder if anything is happening at all. Saturday reminds us that just because we can’t see it, doesn’t mean God isn’t at work.
Sunday – The Comeback
And then everything changes. The tomb is empty. Jesus is alive. What looked final wasn’t final. What looked like the end wasn’t the end. This is the heart of the Christian message: that hope is real, that life is stronger than death, and that no story is beyond redemption.
These are the seven days that changed the world.
